
eCast Assurance provides the ability to view patient demographics, schedules, and a clinical summary for each Patient in the eCast EMR. The software currently runs on any Apple iOS device (e.g. ipad, iPhone, iTouch).
The iOS software downloads information to the device so that it can be viewed even when you temporarily lose your Internet connection. When your Internet connection is restored data is synchronized to the most current information in the eCast EMR.
Patient data updating back to the eCast EMR is not available in the eCast Assurance product. The eCast EMR provides several Meaningful Use data validation features that can not be replicated in eCast Assurance (e.g. ePrescribing real time data checking).
Why eCast Assurance
eCast Assurance provides portable real-time data access to patient schedules, demographics and clinicial summaries. All Apple iOS devices are supported. Your iOS device is configured to communicate with your practice in the eCast EMR. Real-time patient updates are securely transmitted to your iOS device as patient data is updated.
The application provides you the ability to view patient data immediately before an encounter with the patient, eliminating the need to go to a “tethered” work station to get the data. All pertinent data about the Patient is available on the device.
Data is continuously synchronized to the iOS device. If your Internet connection goes down, you still have access to the critical information you need to provide high quality healthcare to your Patients.

Implementation

Implementing the eCast Assurance application is very easy. Simply download and install the application from the iTunes store. We send you an email with your application profile. Once you start the application you enter your unique user id and password. Data is downloaded and immediately available.
